When Trees Attack: Why the Block Went Dark but We’re Still Bright

You ever have one of those days where you’re vibin’, systems are running smooth, and then—BOOM—nature decides to throw hands?

Well, that was us this week.

Some folks were out cutting trees near our block (don’t ask why; we’re still confused too), and a few of those limbs came down right onto the power lines. The result? A nasty power surge knocked out electricity for the whole area and, in the process, fried some of our gear.

No cap, we took a hit. One minute we were spinning tracks, and the next we were staring at dead screens and blinking lights. But instead of letting it get us down, we’re flipping the script.

This is our reset moment.

We’re using this unplanned pause to upgrade, reflect, and reinforce. We’re putting in new backup systems and tweaking our setup so if (or when) this ever happens again, Boss Global Radio won’t miss a beat.

Literally.

We may be quiet on the stream right now, but trust—we’re still loud in spirit. And we’re still here with the content, updates, blogs, and a whole lot of heart.

Stay with us, Boss Fam. The comeback is always louder.
