The 10 Best Songs of February 2025 - BGR Picks

Writer: Boss Global RadioBoss Global Radio

From Doechii's top hit of all time to LISA, the greatest song of all time, here are our top song selections for February 2025.

After a great entry of February 2025, there are many songs that were released and chart-topping around the world, the songs that we cried, national anthems, or that got our hearts to cheer. In this article, Roy and the Boss Global Radio Team pick the best 10 songs of February 2025. These tracks are based on the server metrics, and maybe your favorite songs are here.

"Born Again" — LISA (feat. Doja Cat & RAYE)

Are these three queens of songs, LISA, Doja Cat, and RAYE, collaborating on one song? Well, is it a true or maybe once-in-a-lifetime collaboration? A disco-infused production with a groovy bassline is an instant win for me. RAYE's vocals are so smoother than I expected, but for LISA, choosing to sing rather than deliver a rap verse—leaving that to Doja Cat—was the real surprise. — Roy, Writer at Boss Global Radio

"Abracadabra" — Lady Gaga

Can we argue that this is also a great song of Lady Gaga too? This pop R&B song is one that I cannot remove from my core memory. Some argue that Gesaffelstein's sound lost its edge back in 2015, and while Gaga has a stronger claim to it than most. Lady Gaga's recent Grammy-winning collaboration with Bruno Mars, Die With a Smile, has been a massive success, nearing two billion streams on Spotify. A melodic ballad, it highlights both artists vocal prowess. In Abracadabra, it is an entirely different hype or beast. One must look beyond and revisit The Fame Monster in 2009, the album that defined pop with tracks like Bad Romance and Paparazzi. That era saw Gaga blending gritty synths with provocative, often cryptic lyrics—an approach that Abracadabra embraces wholeheartedly. — Roy, Writer at Boss Global Radio

"No One Noticed" (Extended Spanish) — The Marias

When I first heard this song back in November 2024, I thought, "Who is this? And where are they from?" The group is based in L.A. and is led by vocalist Maria Zardoya. It turns out that the other term for No One Noticed is "dissociated yacht pop.". The style reflects the emotional struggle of maintaining a distant relationship. Zardoya urges her partner to stay, arguing for a strong connection despite their distance. The song's backing singers convey her views. Since its premiere on Boss Global Radio on November 20, 2024, the song has achieved the No. 1 spot on our Boss 8 @ 8 weekly countdown. It continues to climb up the U.S. Top 40 Mediabase charts, and I look forward to it being in the top 10 this spring. — Beat Boss, Host of The Boss 8 @ 8, Boss Global Radio Team

"APT." ROSÉ & Bruno Mars

Hear me out... ROSÉ and Bruno are so underrated? APT has undeniably made an impact, sparking polarized reactions—hailed by some as the refreshing jolt K-pop needed and dismissed by others as a juvenile misstep. Conceptually, the song's most compelling aspect is its foundation. The opening, featuring a traditional Korean drinking game, cleverly nods to the origins of its infectious hook, seamlessly incorporating cultural elements into an English language release.

While the repetitive hook certainly lodges itself in the listener's mind, it leans more tiresome than addictive, especially when compared to an obvious reference point like Mickey. Given this is a collaboration between ROSÉ and Bruno Mars, I expected an extra layer of depth or a moment that truly elevates the track. Still, APT is a polished, enjoyable pop song, one that, at the very least, will earn a spot on a few of my playlists. — Roy, Writer at Boss Global Radio

"Standing Next To You" — Jung Kook

BTS member Jungkook has taken a strategic approach to the rollout of GOLDEN, with the singles SEVEN and 3D achieving notable success. Standing Next To You wastes no time making an impact, launching straight into a high-energy blend of bold brass and punchy drum hits before settling into sleek, disco-infused verses delivered with effortless confidence. The pre-chorus stands out with a rhythmic flow reminiscent of Regulate/Keep Forgettin', adding a blend of familiarity while maintaining its own identity. Rather than relying on a repetitive hook to make an impression, the chorus builds dynamically, driven by swelling instrumentation and sharp bursts of brass and percussion. — Roy, Writer at Boss Global Radio

"toxic till the end" — ROSÉ

Still cannot move on APT.? Well, Rose did it again. I enjoyed toxic till the end upon its release, and that sentiment still holds. The song's strong melodies make it effortlessly listenable, while its catchy phrase, particularly the "end, end, end" hook, has a lasting impression. The punchy pop production ties everything together, hitting all the right notes for an engaging listen.  — Roy, Writer at Boss Global Radio

"Who"—Jimin

The song Who is a composition by South Korean singer Jimin, a member of BTS. It was released on July 19, 2024, as the lead single from his second studio album, Muse. Despite the recent addition of the K-pop song to Boss Global Radio's programming, it swiftly rose up the chart, reaching its peak at No. 1 and tying Lady Gaga's Abracadabra at the top of the Boss 8 @ 8 in early February. The singles continue to break streaming records on a global scale and remain a top contender for one of the biggest songs that Boss Global Radio has played so far in 2025. — Beat Boss, Host of The Boss 8 @ 8, Boss Global Radio Team

"Timeless" The Weeknd (feat. Playboi Carti)

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, also known as The Weeknd, and Playboi Carti collaborate here. The Weeknd's Hurry Up Tomorrow album's lead single appeared on Boss Global Radio in Fall 2024. After four months on BGR, Timeless shows no signs of slowing down. Even though The Weeknd released Niagara Falls and Cry For Me, Timeless remains our top single. — Beat Boss, Host of The Boss 8 @ 8, Boss Global Radio Team

"Messy" Lola Young

This is the sixth track from British singer Lola Young's second studio album, The Word Wasn't Meant For You Anyway, which came out on May 30, 2024. It's called Messy. The song got its first chart position after becoming famous on the video-sharing app TikTok. It was first played on U.S. radio stations on January 13, 2025. The song has parts of a country-pop sound and parts of a modern adult sound. The song was sent to the radio station by Boss Global Radio the same day it was released. Since then, it has been in the top ten of both the most-listened-to and most-aired charts. It got as high as #3 on the Boss 8 @ 8 list and is still one of the most streamed and played songs on the radio around the world. — Beat Boss, Host of The Boss 8 @ 8, Boss Global Radio Team

"Denial Is A River" Doechii

American rapper Doechii's song Denial Is A River is taken from her third mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal. Although other tracks from Doechii's past albums have been played on Boss Global Radio, this one is her finest to date on our platform. It ranks in our February Top Ten and has been in our Boss 8 @ 8 weekly countdown for almost six weeks. We anticipate hearing more of this hit as American radio stations continue to add it on a weekly basis. — Beat Boss, Host of The Boss 8 @ 8, Boss Global Radio Team
