Texas born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I have always been into music as far as i remember my grandfather was a musician and always had music playing. I also remember my tios would play nothing but oldies and that old skool feel good funk music of the late 70’s and early 80’s which i loved. In the mid 80’s one of my cousins took me to watch the movie Breakin’ and when i saw Ice T rapping and Dj Glove on the wheels of steel scratching, it was over for and that’s what i wanted to do. Fast forward to 1997 i bought myself a Gemini mixer and 2 turntables with a mission to become a dj. I taught myself by going to nightclubs on the weekends standing by dj booths watching dj work their craft, djs would look at me like i was weird cause I would sit there and stare all night long, hahaha! Now that i think about it, it was weird! Forward to 2005 one of the guys that i used to buy 12” Vinyl from he was also a mixshow coordinator asked me for a ride and i had one of my recorded mixes playing because i always listened to what i sounded like, he asked if that was me mixing I said fa sho, then he asked me if i wanted to get a 30 min spot on one of Reno, NV’s hiphop stations it was a wrap! In 2009 I was invited to mix for a hiphop station in Midland-Odessa with now my homeboys Dj LuckyBoy Lopez and Dj Latin G i did that there until 2015. After Dj Latin G may he rest in peace approached me to do some mixes for him on some streaming stations becoming part of the Mixmechanics and UTR Djs. Throughout my journey of being a Dj i have met and done what alot of people dream of and i have accomplished that. I wanna thank everyone that gave me chance at this lifetime gig that has been off the hook and continues to be one of my greatest accomplishments. Now the show must go on and im here at The Boss Radio to get you through your Friday's mixing up the great throwbacks from 2010-2019, music we all love!
